Nuclear Armageddon
One very large concern in our day and age in the event of global upheaval is what will happen to the nuclear waste and fallout from nuclear power plants. Quite simply it has the potential to ruin the landscape for generations . As you can see the united states and a large portion of europe are very RED as it were and have a high probability for high levels of fallout .

In comparison Africa only has 2 nuclear power plants in Cape Town . A common misconception about Africa is that it is a desert wasteland . In fact much of southern Africa is lush and full of wildlife and resources .
Soo just on the basis of nuclear power plant contamination Africa is the best choice sofar . If the solar flares and resulting EMP’s do not cripple their systems and cause meltdowns the shifting of the tectonic plates during the polar shift will surely bring them to the ground . Not ice .
Understanding basic plate tectonics is simple . Large masses take the most force to move and hence will shift the least and small masses take the least amount of force to move and will shift the least .
You can see from this picture of the earths plates that the largest plates are under Africa and Europe . Given the prior info on Europes nuclear power plants , once again Africa is a candidate for increased survival rates .
